Gimbap (Korean Rice Rolls Recipe

Korea’s answer to sushi, but so much more fun!

Ingredients:

  • 4 sheets of gim (seaweed)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (seasoned with sesame oil and salt)
  • Filling ideas: carrots, spinach, pickled radish, crab sticks, egg strips, beef bulgogi

Steps:

  1. Lay a sheet of seaweed shiny-side down on a bamboo mat.
  2. Spread a thin layer of rice, leaving about an inch at the top.
  3. Arrange fillings in a neat row.
  4. Roll tightly, pressing gently to seal the edges.
  5. Slice into bite-sized pieces and admire your masterpiece.
